Dr. Thomas Kaiser-Stockmann
Rechtsanwalt und Notar, FounderThomas is a German attorney-at-law and notary public with a particular focus on advising Nordic and other international clients on their work in Germany. His practice spans over twenty years and includes, amongst others, corporate and M&A, Real Estate and notarial work. His previous positions at leading Scandinavian law firms and his extensive experience with the International Bar Association have given him a global network of friends & colleagues and an in-depth understanding of the challenges that international clients face in Germany. He is also the long time chairman of Assa Abloy Sicherheitstechnik GmbH.
Thomas Kaiser-Stockmann founded Mannheimer Swartling's Berlin office in 1992 and was their Managing Partner until 2013. After that he was Managing Partner of Magnusson`s Berlin office and in 2015 founded his own boutique firm tkslegal Berlin.

Frederik Tholey
RechtsanwaltFrederik was admitted as German attorney-at-law in 2020. He has in-depth knowledge in the areas of corporate law, M&A and IP/IT law. He completed his second state examination in 2019 and studied at the Humboldt University of Berlin, the Free University of Berlin and the University of Birmingham (Certificate of Higher Education in English Law).
He is a co-founder and managing director of the legal tech startup iur.crowd, which offers a platform for sharing and analysing court decisions. At Christmas time he works as co-founder at his online platform Weihnachtsmann2Go offering families to book Santa Claus.
Frederik is married and has 1 daughter.

Amelie Spanehl
Legal AssistantAmelie has been with tkslegal Berlin LLP since February 2025. She completed her First State Examination in 2024 at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. Her academic career took her abroad several times, for example for an internship to the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam. At tkslegal Berlin LLP Amelie works on international cases and helps Thomas with business development.

Legal AssistantTil has been with tkslegal Berlin LLP since September 2015. He is a Scholar of Heinrich Böll Foundation and in 2019 completed his First State Examination at Humboldt University Berlin with merits. He has also studied in Stockholm and at the London School of Economics. Presently Til is ia working on his dissertation. At tkslegal Berlin LLP Til works on international legal research and helps Thomas on his various pro bono activities and on social media.
